How is a two-QB league different from a superflex league?

A two-quarterback league is a fantasy football format where each team must start two quarterbacks every week instead of one.
In a two-quarterback league, also called a 2QB or superflex-adjacent format, every roster starts two quarterbacks each week. Because 32 NFL teams exist and most fantasy leagues have 10 to 14 teams, there simply are not enough quality starters for everyone. This scarcity pushes quarterbacks way up in value, and top ones like Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen often get drafted in the first round.
The format changes strategy a lot compared to one-QB leagues. Drafting a solid second quarterback early protects you from injuries and bye weeks, and backup quarterbacks become valuable trade chips. Streaming quarterbacks off the waiver wire is harder because many rosters carry two or even three quarterbacks, leaving few starters unclaimed.
A cousin of this format is the superflex league, where one roster slot can hold a quarterback or any other position. Superflex tends to be a bit softer on demand since some managers fill that slot with a running back or wide receiver, but strategy is similar: quarterbacks rise in value and depth at the position matters.
