Should I accept this fantasy football trade?
Fanademy's trade analyzer compares the players sent and received using rest-of-season value over replacement, then evaluates the roster after the exchange. That prevents a high-scoring but easily replaced position from automatically winning a trade and makes multi-player deals about the value your lineup can actually use.
How the method works
Describe both sides
Add the current roster and every player sent and received by canonical nflverse GSIS player id.
Value the assets
Use the current rest-of-season publication and express each player as value over positional replacement.
Rebuild the roster
Apply the exchange and identify how the incoming players change the usable lineup rather than only totaling names.
State the difference
Report received value minus sent value with the publication source and the roster context behind the verdict.
What it cannot tell you
- The result values the specified rest-of-season roster change; it does not price keeper cost, draft picks or league-specific trade markets unless supplied.
- A fair numeric comparison can still be a poor roster move when depth, playoff needs or risk preference differ from the entered context.
- Rest-of-season values move with each weekly publication and are not guarantees of player outcomes.
Common questions
Why use value over replacement in a fantasy trade analyzer?
