What is half-PPR scoring?
Half-PPR awards half a point per reception on top of yardage and touchdown scoring. It is the middle option between standard, which awards nothing for a catch, and full PPR, which awards a full point.

Half-PPR is a scoring format that awards half a fantasy point for every reception, sitting between full PPR and standard scoring. It is the most common setting in fantasy football.
Half-PPR splits the difference: pass-catchers still gain from volume, but only half as much as in full PPR, so the boost to receivers and receiving running backs is smaller and the gap to pure runners narrows.
Because it is the middle setting, half-PPR rankings look similar to PPR at the very top and diverge in the middle rounds, where a half-point per catch is enough to move a high-volume receiver up a tier without erasing the value of a touchdown-heavy runner.
