A superflex is a lineup slot that can be filled by a quarterback, running back, wide receiver, or tight end, which in practice means a second quarterback can start each week.
Because a superflex slot lets you start two quarterbacks, roughly twice as many quarterbacks start across the league each week. That makes the position genuinely scarce and pushes quarterbacks far up the draft board compared with a standard one-quarterback league.
In superflex leagues, elite quarterbacks carry real value over replacement and are worth early picks, reversing the usual advice to wait on the position.
